MARCOS LOPEZ-IGLESIAS

An inspiring arrangement of melodic tones with captivating hooks, Marcos Lopez-Iglesias brings a unique crossover of songwriting to the world. 

Born in Oxford, England, Marcos' music brings a quintessence of British eloquence touched with Spanish rhythmic tempo.

Marcos’ talent was noticed by pop idol Limahl who invited him to play drums at stadiums throughout Europe.  He also took part in the video soundtrack for the movie “The Never Ending Story”.  Duran Duran then invited Marcos to play drums with them on their European tour.  Marcos decided to stay on in Europe and moved to Modena Italy to work with Inner Vision Recording Studios as a songwriter/session drummer and record producer.  He wrote songs for the Italian pop band “The Gift” and also composed an anthem for the “Uventus Football Club”.

Marcos moved to the USA from Italy and worked with American Music Organization “The Continental Singers”. This pushed him to new limits inspiring him to communicate his ideas as a contemporary singer/songwriter and recording artist.  He also recorded and performed with the father of gospel music Andre Crouch and is part of the vocal duo Lyn & Marcos.   

Marcos full-length album titled “REVIVAL” and video for the title track  “Revival Rain” is scheduled for release in 2024 mixed by Grammy winning mix engineer Bob Horn. The video produced by Terry Davis from MTV and Higher Ground Productions was shot at various California locations and features “The Andrae’ Crouch Choir”. 

Marcos’ recently tracked drums at historic One On One studios in Hollywood for his second solo album “The Story Of Love” Volumes 1 & 2, which he is recording with Bob Horn.  It is a beautiful collection of original love songs.  Marcos is a singer/songwriter; multi-instrumentalist (drums, guitar, vocals) music director and record producer.

Marcos has produced four artists with Lyn Livigni through Gold Record Productions. Lyn & Marcos were featured as songwriters in an exclusive interview for Billboard Magazine and the video For America reached over 100k views and 15k spotify streams.
